Conference Name:  AAHB 2022 Scientific Meeting

AAHB contracted rooms for Baker’s Cay Resort based on AAHB previous conferences.  We were concerned that the pandemic would limit the number of attendees due to travel restrictions or changes in the virus.  If AAHB contracted for more rooms, but had a low turn-out, the financial penalties we would face defaulting on the room block numbers under contract would great and we simply don’t have that kind of financial cushion to fall back on.  Fortunately, the AAHB meeting registrations came in strong.  We made alternative arrangements at the Holiday Inn Key Largo, which is 4 miles down the road from Bakers Cay Resort and contracted to provide shuttle service between the locations.
