2023 Scientific Meeting - Disclosures

COVID-19 Policies

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, AAHB will be requiring all attendees and speakers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be following the most current recommendations for gatherings and masking. We will continue to follow the science and monitor federal, state, and local guidelines and adjust our policies as needed to ensure a safe and comfortable meeting for all attendees. Thank you for being an important part of the health behavior research community and coming together as we navigate new realities in the pandemic era.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policies

  • All participants attending the Annual Meeting must be up to date on vaccines against COVID-19 to participate. This means completion of the initial vaccination series plus one booster. Accepted COVID-19 vaccines can be found here.
  • There will be no exceptions to this vaccination policy.
  • Face masks will be optional for the meeting. We recognize that some may choose to wear masks while others may choose not to do so. Our goal is to promote a safe and respectful environment. We urge attendees to actively communicate and check-in with others around them to promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all. Should San Francisco institute stricter masking policies at the time of the meeting, we will defer to local policies.

Verifying your COVID-19 Vaccination Status

  • Show an official CDC vaccination card and government-issued ID. A copy or photo of the vaccination card is acceptable.
  • Show an electronic vaccination card via the CLEAR or other state approved app. If you choose this method, you only need to set up a Digital Vaccine Card, not the full Health Pass. Read more about the Digital Vaccine Card on CLEAR website
  • Verify your COVID-19 vaccination status at the conference registration table in order to receive your conference badge.
