(Note:  If your abstract is accepted, it is expected that you or another author registers for the scientific meeting)

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations requested prior to Feb. 8, 2020:  $100 cancellation fee.  No refunds after Feb. 8, 2020.  If the conference limit has been met by the time of conference, there will be no on-site registration.  If cancellation is requested, (regardless of timing), and participant paid with a credit card, the refunded amount will be credited to the same card.  If paid by a check, a check will be returned once the original check has cleared the participant's financial institution. 


* Members, please note:  Your membership must be current at the time of the conference to receive member conference rate. 

*If your ABSTRACT was accepted, you or another author must register for the Scientific Meeting.

Professional Development and Mentoring Council Workshop Luncheons (PDMC) 

  • Presentations are FREE for EVERY Conference Participant
  •  Luncheon is provided FREE to the 1st 25 Students or AAHB Members.
    AAHB Members and Students:  1st 25 students/members receive a Free lunch, badge required.  (Lunches will be provided on a 1st come/1st serve basis to students or AAHB members who ATTEND the workshop session. Free lunches provided by support of AAHB Fellows!
    $50 fee for lunch if wanted for non-members  or members after 1st 25 Free Lunches. 
    *  If non-member is interested in lunch, must order and pay 2 weeks before meeting.  Any Attendee may bring your own lunch to the presentation!
        • Breakfast Roundtables:  During breakfast, roundtables will be labeled for participants to gather with others to discus various topics.
        • CHES /MCHES Credits - $30 members, $50 non-members
        • Guest Tickets - range from $30-90 for evening socials
        MEMBERS:  Do you want an AAHB Member or Fellow Pin? (must be a Fellow)
           $12 with registration; $15 at the meeting  
        Included in registration:  Opening reception (one drink per person and hors d'oeuvres), mid-morning snacks, and a complementary drink/cheese & crackers at each nightly poster session/social.  Breakfast is complimentary for Embassy Suites guests.

        Annual Poster Awards
        Each year at the Annual Meeting of the Academy, the AAHB awards an Outstanding Research Poster, an Outstanding Student Research Poster and Posters of Distinction. Awards are announced at the closing session of the meeting (on Wednesday morning).  To see previous poster award winners, Click HERE

        • Room Guarantee & Cancellation Policy

        All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 3 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.  All deposits may be charged at the time the reservation is made.

        All ‘no show’ reservations will be billed to each individual’s credit card. The cancellation of guaranteed reservations must be received seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival in order to avoid a charge equal to one night’s room and applicable taxes.

        Check in time is 4:00 PM, and check out time is  Noon/12:00 PM
