Abstract reviewers will use a rubric based on the criteria below to rate all podium research presentation abstracts on a Likert-type scale ranging from "poor" to "excellent."

  1. Focus: Health behavior is the focus of the presentation
  2. Relevance: Relevance of findings and implications for AAHB members
  3. Theme: Highlights a novel approach to studying health behavior research (e.g., novel methods, instruments, interventions)
  4. Methodology: The hypotheses, methods, and procedures are described clearly.
  5. Analysis: Data analyses, including statistics, are correct and appropriate.
  6. Clarity: Clarity of the proposed presentation
