Cancellations requested prior to December 21, 2015: $100 cancellation fee.  No refunds after December 21, 2015.  If the conference limit has been reached by the time of the conference, there will be no on-site registration.   If a cancellation is requested (regardless of timing), and participant paid with a credit card, the refunded amount will be credited to the same card. If paid with a check, a check will returned once the original check has cleared the participant's financial institution.

*If your abstract was accepted, you or another author must register for the Scientific Meeting.

Meals
Included in registration fee: Opening reception (one drink per person and hors d'oeurves), breakfasts (M-T-W), mid-morning snacks, and a complementary drink/cheese & crackers at each nightly poster session/social.

In addition to the amazing dining options at the Sawgrass Marriott, there are wonderful restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and small groceries walking distance from the hotel.  A listing of these dining options will be available upon registration.
Annual Poster Awards
Each year at the Annual Meeting of the Academy, the AAHB awards an Outstanding Research Poster, an Outstanding Student Research Poster and Posters of Distinction. Awards are announced at the closing session of the meeting (on Wednesday morning).  To see last year's poster award winners, Click HERE
Hotel Rates
Special Conference Room Rate: $199/night single or double occupancy+ current tax rate, currently 10% (Triple - $209 / Quad - $219)

* Optional Reduced Resort Fee $13/day includes: Guest room internet, Self-parking, SawgrassSpa and Cabana Beach Club fitness classes, Two (2) complimentary cocktails or (1) appetizer in the Lobby Bar (per stay), Privateaccess to the Cabana Beach Club and beach shuttle service, Complimentary two hour bike rental (up to four bikes), $50.00 credit for a private lesson at the TOUR Academy and much more!

The “cut-off" date” is January 19, 2016.  

Reservation requests received after 5:00pm local time at the Hotel on the cut-off date will be accepted at the Hotel’s prevailing rate, based on availability.

Room Guarantee & Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 24 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.  All deposits may be charged at the time the reservation is made.

Check in time is 4:00 PM, and check out time is  11:00 AM
